This was my first creation of hair pieces. My love for intricacy and detail inspired me to emulate lace using hair as the medium. To heighten the delicate nature of the hair and detail, I created bold contrast with blonde hair as the base and black hair as the overlay. We kept the contrast theme consistent with wardrobe and photography. This collection earned me the North American Hairstyling Award (NAHA) for Student Hairstylist of the Year 2014.
